As Principal Systems Engineer at SharkNinja, I led controls and algorithm development from project initialization through mass production for four Ninja coffee and tea products currently on the market. Work spanned prototyping, embedded implementation (C++, Arduino, Python), test tooling, and production support.

Algorithms delivered

• Cascade temperature control across brewing modes
• Flow control for consistent extraction
• Failure and fault detection with safe-state fallback logic
• Altitude calibration for consistent behavior across elevations
• Low-pass filtering and signal processing for sensor analysis

Prototypes were built from commercial sensors and AC/DC motor drivers, then productized in collaboration with embedded software engineers. Python applications and an R-Pi / Arduino apparatus provided hardware-in-the-loop test infrastructure.
